Hyundai Reveals New Santa Fe with Hybrid Engines

Hyundai has revealed the new Santa Fe, which will be available from September 2020 with hybrid and plug-in hybrid engines.
It is based on a new platform and promises improved performance, efficiency and safety.
The new power trains, which are yet to be detailed, expand Hyundai’s range of electrified SUVs and will help reduce operating costs for fleets and company car drivers.
Other updates include a new front bumper with a larger grille and restyled headlights. The new Santa Fe also has wider wheel arch cladding's and the option of 20-inch alloy wheels to improve road presence.
At the rear, a new tailgate design features a red reflector band to connect the taillights.
For the first time, the Santa Fe is also offered with an optional Luxury Package. The trim’s exterior includes a dedicated 20-inch wheel design and front and back lower bumpers and side cladding which match the body paint color, rather than matte black.
Hyundai says the new car’s interior provides more space, comfort, and convenience compared to the previous model. There is an increase in the number of premium soft-touch materials, and it features a new lower dashboard design, a redesigned center console and a new 10.25-inch touchscreen.
Vehicle stability and handling is improved by more effective weight distribution, which lowers the center of gravity. Aerodynamics have also been improved so that air resistance is minimized to deliver improved fuel efficiency, power and driving performance.

More details on the new Santa Fe will be released closer to the vehicle’s market launch.
