Verna
facelift has revamped front fascia with new grill with
twin chrome slats, larger & sharper head lights with projector lamps,
bigger fog lamps with LED DRLs and redesigned bumper. Rear facade has updated
bumper with integrated reflectors & black underlip, and refurbished tail
lamps with LED lights. Alloy wheels bare new design that enhances the side
profile of updated C-segment sedan from the South Korean automaker.
While
exteriors get thoroughly brushed up, interiors are left with same design and
similar trims as current Verna, except
for the addition of new infotainment system on the centre console with 7 inch
touchscreen display, which can be used to operate new satellite navigation
facility on Hyundai Verna facelift.
There
will be no major changes in engine
choices, except for the possibility of receiving a 6-speed automatic
transmission (seen in Elantra) in place of current 4-speed automatic unit.
New Hyundai Verna facelift is expected to
be a better competitor than the outgoing model, against segment leader Honda
City. It is expected to hit Indian showrooms in early 2015.
