South
Korean auto major Hyundai is
readying a number of new range additions for 2015 and Verna facelift is one amongst
them.
It was
just a few days ago that Hyundai
confirmed that the new facelift avatar of its popular Verna is set for a February
launch in India. And now ahead of its launch, a facelift version has been spied
undergoing tests in India, without a hint of camouflage.
Caught
on camera by PowerDrift, the new Verna
facelift looks chic with its updated front and rear profiles. In the front, the
test mule is seen wearing a sporty bumper with new headlamps and LED daytime
running lamps. Elsewhere, the new Verna seems to be rolling out
new alloy wheels with redesigned rear end, updated bumper and integrated
reflectors.
The
interior of the new Verna
facelift will remain more or less the same as the current version of Verna and is
likely to include a new touchscreen-based infotainment system. Beneath the
skin, Verna
facelift is likely to include the same 1.4-litre diesel and petrol engines and
1.6-litre diesel and petrol engines, with a five-speed manual gearbox for
petrol and a six-speed manual for diesel. There will most likely be a six-speed
automatic gearbox as well.
