LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Arkansas Children’s Hospital is one of 18 recipients across the country to receive a 2016 Hyundai grant from Hyundai Hope On Wheels and Little Rock-area Hyundai dealers.
The $50,000 grant will be presented during a handprint ceremony, during which children affected by cancer will be commemorated.
"This institution was chosen due to its proven track record of caring for children with pediatric cancer. These grant funds will be used to improve care and support for kids with cancer," said Hyundai in a press release.
A main part of the ceremony will include a check presentation and capturing the handprints of young cancer patients on a white 2016 Hyundai Tucson, the Hyundai Hope On Wheels hero vehicle.
